About
The Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei (MSB) Studies Group is a committee under the Southeast Asia Council (SEAC) of the Association for Asian Studies (AAS). The journal Berita was founded by Prof. John Lent in 1975, and the next year the Malaysia / Singapore / Brunei Studies Group was launched. Since that time, it has continued to serve as a cross-disciplinary network linking the community of scholars in North America and beyond with research and other professional interests in Malaysia, Singapore, or Brunei.
